Supervisor for Collective Accommodations (80 - 100%, fixed-term)

Would you like to apply your skills in a varied and challenging environment while supporting people in difficult life situations? In the team of collective accommodations of the city of Winterthur, which cares for around 350 people at three locations, you will take on the following tasks starting from August 1, 2026, or by arrangement, initially limited until December 31, 2026:

Your Tasks

• Ensuring daily care and support for residents with individual challenges

• Ensuring a smooth flow of information through collaboration with case managers, writing progress notes, and other administrative tasks

• Enforcement of house rules and appropriate action in conflicts by initiating preventive measures

• Organization of learning and leisure activities

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in the caregiving field and/or experience working with people in emergency situations, ideally in an asylum accommodation

• Intercultural competencies and enjoyment of working with people from migration backgrounds

• Resilience, conflict resolution skills, and flexibility, as well as willingness to work shifts (without night, weekend, and holiday shifts)

• German language skills at least at level B2; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
