Your contribution

• Participation in measurement campaigns nationwide in land surveying (GNSS reference networks, national leveling, deviation measurements, gravity measurements)

• Independent evaluation, analysis, documentation, and visualization of measurement data using adjustment calculations, LTOP, GeoSuite, ArcGIS, and FME

• If you have relevant programming skills (Python, Fortran, C++ or C#), there is the opportunity to participate in software development, testing new modules, editing manuals, and user training

• Involvement in research and development projects such as the evaluation of new measuring instruments and/or methods

What makes you unique

• ETH, university, or university of applied sciences degree (MSc or BSc) in geomatics, geoinformatics, or geophysics with good subject knowledge

• Interest in geodesy, good analytical skills and comprehension, sense of responsibility

• Good language skills in two official languages as well as English

swisstopo is the federal competence center for geoinformation. It is responsible for land surveying and coordinates the federal activities regarding geodata and geoservices. swisstopo provides its partners and customers with current, high-quality spatial reference data across the entire territory of Switzerland and offers its products in the form of printed or digital national maps, 3D models, or web services. The office is also the federal expert authority for geology and the supervisory authority for official surveying.
