Hitzkirch is a family-friendly municipality in the Seetal region with around 6,000 inhabitants. The Finance Department organizes and manages the municipality's financial and accounting matters as well as payment transactions and manages liquid assets. It supports the departments in financial and operational management issues.

For this varied position, we are looking to complement our team by agreement for a

Financial Officer 60 - 80%

Your Tasks:

• Deputy of the Head of Finance

• Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Responsible for fee management

• Handling of dunning processes

• Participation in the preparation of the annual financial statement, budget, and financial planning

• Support in managing external accounting for municipal associations

• Completion of general administrative tasks

• Training of apprentices in the finance department

• Optional involvement in the tax office

Your Qualifications:

• Completed commercial training

• Professional experience in the public sector and ideally in the finance sector of Lucerne municipalities

• Further education in accounting or specialized module in municipal finance

• Affinity for numbers

• Reliable, precise, and independent working style

• Confident and service-oriented demeanor

• Team-oriented, committed, and open personality
