Your Tasks
Analysis and structuring of professional and technical requirements from various university areas
Design of end-to-end solutions considering architecture, security, and data protection guidelines
Integration of in-house developments, campus systems, and external standard and cloud software
Design and documentation of interfaces, data flows, and integration architectures
Technical consulting for departments, project management, and IT service owners
Evaluation and technical assessment of standard software and SaaS solutions including proof of concept
Participation in tenders, vendor evaluations, and make-or-buy decisions
Support of implementation until handover to operations and support
Creation and maintenance of documentation
Your Profile
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent education
Strong technical competence and ability to mediate between business and IT
Several years of experience in software engineering, system integration, or IT architecture
Very good understanding of IT architectures, integration patterns, and interfaces
Experience with in-house developments, standard software, and cloud or SaaS solutions
Basic knowledge of DevOps principles, operations, monitoring, and security
Experience in the higher education, education, or public sector environment is an advantage
Ability to communicate complex issues understandably
Experience in collaboration with various stakeholders and interest groups
Independence, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
Service orientation and interest in learning new things, as well as analytical and conceptual thinking complete your profile
