What you will achieve in this role

• You lead the electrical engineering department with a focus on central high-voltage systems both technically and personally. You manage a team of around ten to fifteen project managers, designers, and technicians. You also accompany trainees and promote the further development of the entire unit.

• You acquire new project contracts, maintain existing customer relationships, and convince through competent consulting from the concept phase to the commissioning of complex systems.

• You purposefully steer the technical, scheduling, and economic implementation of complex high-voltage projects. Low-voltage and medium-voltage distributions, power supplies, backup power systems, and uninterruptible power supplies are part of your central area of work. You create or review specifications, tender documents, and performance specifications, evaluate offers, and contribute to work and engineering contracts.

• You reliably ensure compliance with standards, quality, and safety standards and work closely with project management, execution, procurement, and external partners.

• You strategically develop the specialist area, expand our engineering competencies, and manage budgets, resources, and key figures. Based on this, you develop well-founded proposals for optimizations and efficiency increases. In addition to leading the department, you take on your own projects and successfully lead them with your team or across departments.

• You bring an electrical engineering FH or ETH education – or a comparable qualification – as well as several years of leadership experience in central high-voltage systems and energy distributions, providing the technical foundations needed for this demanding task.

• You apply relevant standards such as NIN, EN, and IEC as well as all electrical safety regulations safely and responsibly.

• You lead people with clarity and motivation, can build, manage, and develop teams, and approach conflicts constructively.

• Entrepreneurial thinking, structured planning of processes, and a confident handling of resources characterize you. Even in demanding situations, you bring the necessary assertiveness.

• You communicate clearly and convincingly in German, work resiliently and goal-oriented, and round off your profile with BIM understanding.
