Your tasks
Developing hospital hygiene guidelines, training, and compliance measures
Standardizing infection prevention measures and monitoring compliance
Recording hospital infections, monitoring epidemiologically relevant pathogens, and conducting root cause analyses (CLABSI, ANQ appendectomies, MRE patients)
Advising and supporting department and ward management in implementing hospital hygiene guidelines
Designing new processes and continuously improving existing workflows
Leading and coordinating outbreak investigations and management
Monitoring, interpreting, and ensuring the quality of mandatory or regularly conducted environmental microbiological examinations
Your profile
A completed vocational training as a qualified nursing professional (or equivalent)
Completed further training as a specialist in infection prevention and hospital hygiene is desirable
Several years of professional experience in acute hospitals, ideally in infection prevention
Confident demeanor and diplomatic assertiveness
Independent, responsible, and structured working style
High resilience
Good IT skills
Good German language skills, both spoken and written
