Professional Guardian 60 - 100 %
The professional guardianship works on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB). It cares for and accompanies adults, children, and adolescents for whom a guardianship has been established. Before establishing an adult or child protection measure, the KESB clarifies the need for protection and assistance. The KESB issues individual assignments to the guardian for support, advice, and representation. Applications for the establishment of measures are accepted by the KESB.
Your Responsibilities
Independent management of mandates in child and adult protection on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB)
Case management with various specialist and official offices as well as social insurances
Anamnesis and assistance process planning in individual case situations
Advice and support for those affected and their environment
Independent clarification and assessment of complex issues
Advisory and mediation activities in housing issues, financial matters, health topics, and legal problems
Salary and pension administration as well as assertion of third-party benefits
File and record management, correspondence with various offices and authorities
Asset management, monitoring of payment transactions and accounting
Regular reporting to the Child and Adult Protection Authority
Drafting various applications to specialist offices and authorities
Your Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in social work or an equivalent education
Several years of professional experience, preferably in the field of professional guardianship
High resilience, willingness to help, and a strong sense of responsibility
Interest in legal and social insurance issues
Organizational and administrative skills
Fluent German in spoken and written form
