Your contribution

• Shape the legal framework of the federal sports promotion policy and the corresponding funding instruments, and support the lawful implementation

• Lead the legal service strategically, professionally, and in terms of personnel, and plan the work within the team

• Advise the director and the office management on legal issues

• Plan, lead, and actively accompany legislative and regulatory projects (laws/regulations) and the political processes

• Represent BASPO in internal and external committees and strengthen collaboration with partners in the sports system as well as other legal entities

What makes you unique

• University degree (Master) in law; preferably Swiss bar exam or LL.M.

• Several years of professional experience as a lawyer in public administration and experience in leadership

• Strong political understanding and experience in dealing with political processes and various stakeholders

• Proven experience in legislative/regulatory projects and in dealing with diverse stakeholders

• Very good active knowledge of two official languages; good knowledge of a third official language and English is an advantage

For Sport and Movement in Switzerland

The Federal Office of Sport (BASPO) promotes sport and its values – for all age and performance groups. BASPO combines sports policy, sports promotion, and education: This includes the largest Swiss sports promotion program Youth+Sport and training, course, and training centers in Magglingen and Tenero. The Federal University of Sport Magglingen EHSM is the only Swiss university dealing with education, development, research, and services in the field of sport.
