Hitzkirch is a family-friendly municipality in the Seetal region with around 6,100 inhabitants. The open youth work Hitzkirchertal promotes and supports young people in their leisure activities. It provides a point of contact for youth-specific topics and questions, making it available to both young people and adults and authorities for concerns and inquiries. Youth Worker HF or FH (50 to 60%)

Your tasks:

  • Building relationships with young people as well as counseling and support

  • Independent management of the youth center Joy and presence during opening hours

  • Conceptualization, organization, and support of participatory offers and youth projects

  • Gender and prevention work

  • Participation in unicef "Child-Friendly Municipality"

  • Networking and collaboration with schools, institutions, and authorities

  • Participation in the youth commission

  • Public relations work

  • Various administrative and organizational tasks

Your qualifications:

  • Completed training in socio-cultural animation, social pedagogy, or social work

  • Experience in youth work and in planning and implementing youth projects

  • Structured, reliable, and responsible working style

  • Independent, proactive, resilient, and humorous

  • Confident appearance and responsible action in a demanding field of activity

  • Communicative, responsible, and team-oriented personality

  • Willingness to work irregular hours occasionally

  • Fluent written expression, good IT skills
