What to expect
As a purchaser, you will take on a central role in the further development and optimization of our procurement and logistics processes. In close collaboration with our suppliers, you ensure that material flows are efficiently managed and our quality and delivery requirements are met at all times.
Your tasks include, among others:
Operational purchasing from A to Z: inquiries, orders, deadline monitoring, supplier contact
Procurement of technical products and components, including mechanical parts (plastic & machined parts), O-rings, seals, operating materials, electrotechnical components (e.g., solenoid coils)
Close collaboration with development, production, quality, and logistics
Active participation in the optimization of purchasing processes and workflows
Support in strategic topics such as supplier development, cost optimization, or make-or-buy decisions
Independent organization of supplier visits (internal & external)
Flexible support for additional tasks in the purchasing environment – teamwork is not just a phrase here
Your profile
You are a committed, self-responsible individual with an open, proactive attitude. Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a pronounced practical orientation characterize you. You feel comfortable in both operational daily business and strategic topics and have the ability to actively develop processes. Willingness to change, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a structured and solution-oriented working style are a matter of course for you. Additionally, you enjoy working in an international environment and have a passion for cross-border projects.
What you bring:
Several years of operational purchasing experience in an industrial company
Technical understanding of industrial products and projects
Strategic purchasing experience or motivation to develop further in this direction
Strong negotiation skills
Structured, organized working style with good self-management and clear prioritization
Communicative personality with a solution-oriented mindset
Very good MS Office skills
Very good German as well as good to very good English
Team player mentality and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
A qualification in purchasing is welcome, but not a must if the experience is right
