For the leadership of our financial accounting, we are looking for a qualified and strong personality who enjoys responsibility, strategic thinking, and the further development of central financial processes. In this key role, you will actively shape the financial management of our organization and work closely with the Director of Finance (CFO) as well as various internal interfaces.

Start date: by agreement

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the financial accounting team with a total of five employees.

• Ensuring and continuously developing the accounting processes.

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER, management of fund accounting, and point of contact for VAT issues.

• Planning liquidity and responsibility for treasury.

• Representation of the Director of Finance (CFO) in all areas as well as close collaboration with him.

• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics, take on additional tasks, and develop professionally and personally – with a perspective for a later takeover of the overall management of finance (CFO).

Your profile

• Completed training in finance & accounting at tertiary level (e.g., auditor) or comparable qualification.

• Several years of leadership experience in a similar position (background in healthcare is an advantage).

• In-depth practical experience in accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER.

• Experience and enjoyment in negotiations and successfully shaping them.

• Very good knowledge of SAP FI (ideally S/4Hana) and MS Office.

• Analytical thinking, independent working style, and quick comprehension.

• Strong planning and organizational skills as well as resilience and a hands-on mentality.

• High team spirit, social competence, and convincing communication skills.

• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and active participation in various committees.

• Overall entrepreneurial perspective and action in the interest of the organization as a whole.
