Social Educator as Team Leader Housing 80 %

In five different residential units, we offer around 50 people with severe cognitive or multiple disabilities a home in Schärenmatte. They are supported around the clock in their daily lives according to their individual possibilities. In five workshops, they receive a daily and work structure tailored to their needs.

Our residents wish for a person who "advocates for our interests, takes us seriously, and has ideas for leisure activities".

What to expect

• You lead our team professionally and personally with empathy and clarity and are part of the management of Arkadis

• You further develop our team and bring new impulses for personnel development

• You are responsible for the training of our trainees and accompany them on their journey

• You actively engage in recruiting and also support during farewells

• You get involved yourself and bring your pedagogical skills into the residential group

• You take responsibility for the budget of your own cost center with the support of our accounting department 

What you bring

• You have completed training as a social educator FH or HF

• You have experience working with people with disabilities

• You ideally have completed practical training and/or a course as a vocational trainer or are willing to pursue the corresponding further education

• You have leadership experience and impress with high planning skills

• You purposefully apply your experience in supported communication

• You are characterized by the following personal competencies: resilience, decisiveness, empathy, and strong communication skills
