Team Leader (80-100%) Contaminated Sites / Environmental Chemistry

you will take on the organizational responsibility for a team of 5-7 employees and ensure that processes, resources, and collaboration function efficiently. Additionally, you will regularly work on projects and take the lead on selected projects.

Your tasks

  • Organizational leadership & operational management of the team

  • Resource and deployment, capacity planning, and team development

  • Ensuring efficient processes in day-to-day operations

  • Coordination between team, interfaces & external partners

  • Support in onboarding new employees

  • Conducting employee, feedback, and development discussions

  • Monitoring relevant key figures & implementing process optimizations

  • Promoting a respectful, motivated work atmosphere

  • Participation in projects, as well as leading selected strategic and complex large projects in the area of contaminated sites

What you bring

  • Completed training with a university degree or studies

  • 3 - 4 years of direct leadership experience in an organizational or operational role

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in the field of contaminated sites / environmental chemistry

  • Experience in coordinating processes or leading small to medium-sized teams

  • Project experience (both leadership and participation) – ideally in complex contexts

  • Very good MS Office skills and common tools

  • High social & leadership competence

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, decisiveness, and sense of responsibility

  • Structured, solution-oriented & independent working style

  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written

  • Strong communication skills, team orientation & empathy
