Your tasks:

As a research associate in the field of Systems Engineering, you will play a central role in teaching and research at the IBE Institute. You will actively shape courses and contribute to preparing the next generation of industrial engineers for the challenges of the digital and interconnected economy.

Teaching in the Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering:

• Conducting courses in the areas of system theory, process design, digital business processes, operational organization, digital corporate organization, and project management

• Leading the module group "Systems Thinking" and coordinating student projects in the 4th semester

Teaching in continuing education:

• Participation in the CAS Project Management and MAS Business Engineering Management programs

Research and development:

• Support and collaboration on research projects in initiation and execution focusing on requirements engineering, process design, and system architectures

Your profile:

• Completed Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field

• Desirable: Master's degree from a university (e.g., Management, Technology and Economics, ETH) and ideally a doctorate

• Solid expertise in Systems Engineering, particularly in system and process design as well as project management

• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in industry or consulting, preferably with leadership experience or management of large projects

• Experience in teaching activities is an advantage

• Team-oriented, conceptually strong, and proactive personality with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking with industry
