The Stiftung andante Winterthur is a non-profit social enterprise for the benefit of people with cognitive and/or cerebral impairments as well as for people with brain injuries. The foundation operates in the city of Winterthur, the surrounding region, and the canton of Thurgau. It is recognized by the cantons of Zurich and Thurgau and is also supported by private donors and sponsors. The services offered by Stiftung andante are as diverse as the needs of its clientele in the areas of housing, education, and work.

andante Tägelmoos offers 15 residential and day structure places for adults with brain injuries. The service is aimed at people with mild to moderate care and support needs. We are guided by a person-centered approach. The essential elements of this approach are a respectful, empathetic, and congruent relationship design.

We are looking for a staff member in care:

FaBe/FaGe or Social Educator in the Residential Area (60 - 80 %)
Winterthur

Your Tasks

• Care, support, and assistance for our residents in daily living

• Planning, organizing, and conducting day structure and leisure activities for residents

• Taking on key worker responsibilities

• Close support of residents in goal setting and personal development

• Active participation in team meetings and, if necessary, in project groups

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as FaBe/FaGe EFZ or training as a social educator HF/FH

• Professional experience in supporting adults with disabilities

• High degree of personal responsibility and reflective ability, and the ability to take care of oneself and be mindful

• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
