Head of Planning and Construction 80-100%, Member of the Executive Board

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the Planning and Construction department, including urban planning, building construction, mobility, energy, and real estate with around 20 employees

• Direct leadership of the four department heads

• Advisory partner within the department for conceptual and technical questions

• Consultation and support of the department head as well as technical and political committees

• Responsibility for multi-year planning of projects and tasks, including participation in budgeting and financial planning

• As a member of the executive board: Co-responsibility for the management and further development of the city administration

You are characterized by

• solid education and training (e.g., construction or planning law, business administration with experience and/or further training in planning and construction law)

• several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in public administration

• project management experience is an advantage

• resilient personality with foresight and an entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting

• empathetic and communicatively confident appearance in political and public environments
