Specialist in Structural Standards (40–60%)

Actively shape the construction culture of Switzerland.

Your tasks: Contribute at the heart of Swiss standardization for the construction and planning industry

In this position, you will take on a central role in the development and further advancement of the SIA structural standards.

Among other things, you can expect:

  • Collaboration in relevant SIA commissions with experts from civil engineering and architecture

  • Responsibility for the publication and content quality assurance of the structural standards in cooperation with the respective SIA commissions

  • Support and technical follow-up of the second generation of Eurocodes

  • Contact person in the SIA office for all topics related to structural standards

  • Exchange and collaboration with authorities, associations, and universities

Your profile: Expertise meets responsibility

For this diverse role, we are looking for a person who embodies responsibility towards the environment and society and wants to shape Swiss construction culture.

You bring:

  • A completed university degree in civil engineering, alternatively an architecture degree with a specialization in structural topics

  • Professional experience in an engineering or architectural context

  • High affinity for civil engineering and interest in sustainable construction

  • Structured, proactive, and goal-oriented working style

  • Enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders at national and international levels

  • Negotiation and communication skills

  • Very good German and French language skills; English skills are an advantage
