Lead and manage projects in electrical engineering, EMP protection, and telematics nationwide; plan budgets, issue approvals, check costs, and supervise execution and acceptance
Conduct negotiations, lead coordination meetings, and advise, coordinate, and accompany clients, authorities, and specialized companies through all project phases
Develop foundations, instruments, and tools for the digitalization of processes and create technical contributions for regulations, directives, and guidelines
Design training materials, conduct market analyses, prepare tender documents, and write reports and statistics
Analyze technical developments, develop studies and strategies for the further development of systems in protective facilities, and plan and implement corresponding measures
Participate in working groups, support training sessions, give presentations, and take on additional tasks
What Makes You Unique
Electrical engineer FH with professional experience in electrical planning or electrical technician HF with proven performance in the telematics field or equivalent education with several years of professional experience
Proven project management and leadership experience in the planning and implementation of telematics and high-voltage projects in the field of building technology
High technical expertise and willingness to acquire specialized knowledge for the protective structures of civil protection
Proven experience and/or affinity in the areas of IT and digitalization
Active knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of the third official language is desirable

The Federal Office for Civil Protection BABS is the nationally recognized coordination body for civil protection between federal agencies, cantons, and third parties. It ensures foundations and coordination, particularly in the areas of risk analysis, warning and alerting, training, telematics, and protective infrastructure as well as disaster medicine, ABC protection, and disarmament. Together with the cantons and other national and international partners, it has the capabilities, current technologies, and infrastructures to manage disasters and emergencies.
