Working in the Youth Village

The Youth Village in Knutwil, in the canton of Lucerne, is a social pedagogical institution that implements civil and criminal law measures for severely behaviorally disturbed male adolescents and young adults between the ages of 14 and 25. Employees of the Youth Village accompany the young people on their path to a self-responsible life.

In doing so, we promote and support the personal, social, and professional competencies of the young people.

In the Youth Village, various professional groups come together and work collaboratively and across departments. We live a participatory leadership style characterized by mutual trust and respect, continuously further our education, and create the conditions with our expertise, experience, and structures to achieve the goals.

Your tasks: Opening possibilities

• You work solution-oriented with male adolescents and their systems, assess the life situations of the young people, and then find a suitable follow-up solution together with them and the interdisciplinary team. Creativity and the courage to take new paths are required.

• You are interested in accompanying young people in their daily lives, taking on case management, and developing recommendations.

What you bring

• A diploma in social pedagogy or an equivalent qualification

• You are creative, visionary, resilient, flexible, and want to work in a team of work pedagogy, special education, and social pedagogy

• You are interested in accompanying young people in their daily lives

• A good oral and written expression

• Driving license category B
