Meaningfulness and Challenge

The youth home of the Viktoria Foundation Richigen serves the education, care, training, and vocational clarification of socially troubled adolescents of school and apprenticeship age. Up to 36 female and male youths aged 12 to 22 are admitted, whose separation and integration problems within their previous environment could not be resolved, thus necessitating a change of milieu. The youths are exclusively referred by civil or criminal authorities.
In addition to the educational area, the institution offers a psychological service, individual body therapy sessions, an internal school, protected work and training positions in the areas of workshops and businesses, as well as systemic counseling for families.

What You Bring

• You are an initiative, empathetic, and clear personality

• You have a qualification in social pedagogy HF or a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work

• You bring experience in residential youth assistance

• You are willing to work irregular hours

Area of Responsibility

• You accompany and care for a maximum of five male youths in a group living setting and support them in personal life management

• You provide the youths with stability and security through clear structures

• You work in a key person system

• You regularly exchange interdisciplinary with other areas

• You have the opportunity to guide practice for aspiring social educators or interns
