We employ 300 people at 15 locations worldwide and are known for our high quality in a wide range of industries such as drinking and wastewater, power generation, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, cooling water and ultrapure water as well as steam and condensate.
We are looking for
To strengthen our international sales team, we are looking for a dedicated, communicative, and travel-enthusiastic individual. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, supporting, developing, and managing our distributors across Europe. You will ensure a targeted and growth-oriented sales approach through our partners, oversee and support the implementation of our sales strategy, and work closely with the Group CSO and other Heads of Distribution.
We offer attractive tasks
Active and direct support of the sales teams of our European distributors, primarily in Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovenia, the Baltic States, and countries of the former Yugoslavia; final allocation depending on experience and language skills
Implementation of the distributor strategy developed by group and team leadership
Detailed definition of sales targets per distributor/country and regular monitoring of progress
Identification of further market potential and strategic alignment with distribution partners
Support of local sales teams in price negotiations with key customers, major projects, or framework agreements
Sales-relevant use of the ERP system (IFS), including CRM
Regular reporting and market feedback to defined stakeholders
Proposing sales promotion measures and supporting their implementation
Participation in sales events organized by the Swan Group and by EU distributors
Why we want you
Several years of experience in international sales or business development, ideally in a technical environment
Strong technical affinity and enthusiasm for customer engagement and market development
Independent work ethic and effective time management within defined deadlines
Excellent command of German and English (C2 level); additional European languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel within Europe approx. 40–60% of the time
