Your Contribution

• Process, manage, and monitor current sports policy matters

• Develop and prepare departmental, federal council, and parliamentary matters on behalf of the management until decision-making readiness

• Analyze and address strategic and conceptual issues for the further development of sports and movement promotion in Switzerland

• Advise management and department heads on sports policy issues

• Independently conduct clarifications and coordinate positions

• Represent BASPO in committees and working groups and collaborate with the GS-VBS

What Makes You Unique

• Master's degree in political science, law, economics, or social sciences

• Several years of experience with political-administrative tasks, ideally in federal administration

• Good knowledge of the political system of Switzerland

• Experience in drafting decision-making bases for political bodies

• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language (level B2) and passive knowledge of a third official language (level B1)

The Federal Office of Sport (BASPO) promotes sports and its values – for all age and performance groups. BASPO combines sports policy, sports promotion, and education: This includes the largest Swiss sports promotion program Youth+Sport and training, course, and training centers in Magglingen and Tenero. The Federal University of Sports Magglingen EHSM is the only Swiss university dealing with education, development, research, and services in the field of sports.
