The Employment Integration Winterthur is part of the Social Services sector. With around 85 employees, it supports more than a thousand participants each year on their path to professional integration. In view of the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking for a strong implementation-oriented leader with extensive management experience in the social sector, starting in summer 2026 or by agreement. Would you like to lead employment integration and its offerings into the future with your entrepreneurial vision and innovative spirit?

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational leadership of the organization and integration programs according to business principles and considering municipal guidelines

• Further development of operations, processes, and programs

• Promotion of workplace culture and the skills and competencies of employees

• Constructive collaboration with clients and referrers (social assistance, asylum, employment office)

• Strengthening acquisition

• Coaching of the seven department heads

• Active participation in the management of Social Services

Your Profile

• Several years of leadership and management experience (across multiple levels) in employment integration and administration, ideally related to social assistance and asylum

• (Professional) university degree, preferably in social work or business administration, complemented by a qualified management/leadership training

• Proven track record in project/change management and organizational development

• Understanding of political contexts, societal dimensions, and public interest

• Strong solution and implementation orientation, negotiation skills, and business-oriented working style
