In five different residential units, we provide a home for around 50 people with severe cognitive or multiple disabilities in Schärenmatte. They are supported around the clock in their daily lives according to their individual capabilities. In five workshops, they receive a daily and work structure tailored to their needs.
Our residents wish for a person who "advocates for our interests, takes us seriously, and has ideas for leisure activities".
Responsibilities
Professional and personnel management of the staff
Budget responsibility for the own cost center
Identification and initiation of personnel development measures
Responsibility for the training of apprentices
Participation in the recruitment and separation process
Collaboration in the residential group
Requirements
Completed training as a social educator FH or HF
Experience in working with people with disabilities
Ideally completed practical training and/or course as a vocational trainer (or willingness to complete the corresponding further training)
Leadership experience with high planning competence
Experience in supported communication
Personal competencies: resilient, decisive, empathetic, and communicative
