Specialist in Care EFZ - Work and Daily Structure 80% with initial training in the gastronomy sector
The Arkadis Foundation is a service center for adults with disabilities, primarily with cognitive impairments and/or cerebral movement disorders, who live privately or in our institution. Furthermore, we are a specialized center for children and adolescents with disabilities, developmental impairments or risks, as well as those with special health or social support needs, including their social environment.
In the daily structure in the Sonnenblick area, we offer people in need of support a day center, a workshop, and a small number of workplaces in our two gastronomy businesses. Our clients wish for a person who is "friendly and humorous" and "reliable and empathetic".
Your tasks:
You accompany and support our clients at the workplace according to work pedagogical principles.
You promote the clients in their abilities and develop and design individual development plans together with them.
You set up the workplaces for the clients and are responsible for creative and innovative product developments, including their implementation.
You apply multimodal communication (AAC, easy language) and further develop it.
What you bring:
Completed training as a Specialist in Care EFZ with initial training in the gastronomy sector (e.g., cook EFZ)
Experience in food production and/or in the area of sheltered workplaces
Interest in working with people with disabilities
Creative and innovative working style
Driver's license, good IT skills, and teamwork ability
