You rock this

• You operate highly available and complex control systems for the operational and safety equipment of the national roads in Northwestern Switzerland.

• You are responsible for application management and 2nd level support with a focus on control systems.

• In projects, you support our project managers with your expertise – you are our expert in the areas of installation, configuration, integration, and implementation of applications as well as their interfaces to industrial plants.

• Coordinating between customers, specialist departments, and application developers, managing changes and releases of applications, and lifecycle and change management of hardware and software components are just as much part of your daily bread as user training and creating and updating technical documentation.

• To ensure that the systems run 24/7, you regularly provide on-call service and work across the entire highway network of Northwestern Switzerland.

What you can do and how you are

• You stay cool even in hectic situations, respond responsibly, think analytically, and act independently and persistently.

• You can be relied upon. You are a team player and listen to the opinions of others, while also being self-confident and able to assert yourself.

• You have completed a technical vocational training in the field of computer science, preferably with a higher-level IT qualification at HF or FH level.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role (ideally in an industrial environment) as well as practical experience in web/application management in a heterogeneous environment and good technical understanding round off your profile.

• Working when others are off – that’s okay with you. Depending on the project phase, we sometimes work at night.

• Fluent German in spoken and written form, technical English, and a driving license of category B are prerequisites for this varied task.
