For our new branch in St. Gallen on Multergasse (opening in March 2026), we are looking for new team members as Vacation Advisors: Travel & Outdoor 70 - 100 % starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
We are excited to offer our customers an even more unique shopping experience at the new location. For this new adventure, we are looking for around 15 new Transa team members in the following areas:
Hardgoods (sleeping bags / backpacks / tents)
Clothing
Technology (outdoor kitchen / GPS / ...)
Mountain Sports
Bike
Shoes
Kids

YOUR SPECIALIZATION AS A SALES ADVISOR

Advising our customers in St. Gallen on their outdoor adventures. Your thing.
Engaging in discussions, exchanging knowledge, and sharing expertise within the team. Gladly.
Being a valuable sparring partner in the team and shaping the future product range together. Exciting!
Helping to design and maintain the sales area. That's part of it too.
Contributing to the flow of goods. Of course.
THIS IS YOU
An education in retail as a retail specialist EFZ would be ideal. Career changers are also welcome.
Product knowledge in one or more of the above areas or experience in application. That's what you bring.
An open ear for our customers in St. Gallen. Absolutely.
Available flexibly, including on Saturdays. Yes!
Your environment describes you as reliable and enthusiastic. Definitely.
Motivation to help shape the new branch and work in a large team. Yes, gladly.

We are embarking on a new adventure together: Be aware that the recruitment process will not follow standard procedures. Events (indoor in St. Gallen and outdoor) with several short interviews and group interactions are planned. In addition to technical expertise, we value a strong team spirit and sense of community. This way, we can find a strong team for St. Gallen together. The first round of recruitment will take place on September 10 or 11, 2025, and the second round on October 18, 2025.

Transa Backpacking AG has been the competence center for high-quality travel and outdoor equipment for over 45 years. The motto "Out. But right." is lived by around 500 employees. We are organized in circles and use the patterns of Sociocracy 3.0 – this allows employees to be deployed according to their abilities. In the branches of Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lausanne, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Vevey, and Winterthur, as well as in the two outlet branches and the station business Yosemite in Zermatt, there are over 42,000 products from around 550 brands. If products do get damaged, we take care of it in the repair workshop in Zurich Altstetten.
