The Stadtgarten is the center for care and support of the citizens' community of Frauenfeld, located close to the city, centrally, and embedded in a small, inviting park that has grown over decades. In 1- and 2-room apartments, we offer up to 130 elderly residents with varying care needs a home with high individuality.

As a complement to our team, we are looking for a

Chef/Cook EFZ 80% - 100%

Your area of responsibility

• Independent preparation of snacks, daily meals, and festive menus from fresh products

• Co-responsibility for age-appropriate, varied, and digestible meals including dietetics with seasonal offerings

• Co-responsibility for implementing the hygiene concept, including related control tasks (HACCP regulations)

• Co-responsibility for a smooth service process

• Accompanying and supporting trainees and staff

What distinguishes you

• Training as a Chef/Cook EFZ

• Enjoyment in preparing and presenting fresh dishes

• Fondness for desserts or a second qualification as a baker/confectioner is an advantage

• Well-groomed appearance and courteous, respectful interaction with residents, staff, and guests

• Good communication skills, good German language skills, ability to communicate in dialect

• Flexibility and willingness to work on weekends and holidays
