Your Responsibilities:

In this versatile position, you will take on both teaching responsibilities and the program management of the English-language Master of Science in Medical Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in collaboration with the University of Business. Embedded in a dedicated team, you will work closely with colleagues, the program management, and the institute management. The following tasks are part of your exciting field of work:

• lead and further develop the Master of Science in Medical Informatics program in line with the strategic goals of the university

• take responsibility for content orientation, financial and timely execution

• manage and optimize administrative processes

• develop and implement contemporary didactic methods

• conduct student acquisition in collaboration with the marketing department

• maintain and expand partner networks

• ensure quality management within the university

• act as a contact person for students and lecturers in the program

• conduct your own courses, e.g., in the areas of Medical Data Science, Medicine and Informatics, Clinical Information Systems, or Medical Image Processing

• design, content-wise shape, and didactically further develop your own modules

• supervise student projects

• participate in the extended university management and actively shape the strategic development of the university

Your Profile:

You are an innovative and committed individual with strong communication skills and a completed university degree with a diploma or master's degree, preferably with a doctorate in Medical Informatics, IT engineering with a medical background, or Medicine with advanced IT knowledge. In addition, you bring:

• teaching experience at the university level

• proven experience in project management and process administration

• several years of professional experience in industry or hospital settings

• university didactic qualification or the willingness to acquire this within the first years

• very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

• strong team orientation and willingness to cooperate

• a broad network in science, business, and healthcare – ideally with a focus on Switzerland and Europe
