In the therapy department of the elderly centers in the city of Winterthur, we offer a comprehensive therapy program at five locations. We treat residents and patients from temporary and long-term care, as well as from the outpatient sector, in the fields of geriatrics, orthopedics, psychiatry, and neurology.
For our interprofessional therapy team consisting of nine physiotherapists, three occupational therapists, two coordinators, and students from ZHAW, we are looking for a cheerful personality starting October 1, 2025 or by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure needs- and resources-oriented occupational therapy for the residents and patients of the elderly centers.
Plan, implement, and evaluate therapies, including documentation.
Interprofessional collaboration with doctors, physiotherapy, nursing, activation, and customer service.
Administrative tasks, e.g., reports to health insurance companies, managing prescriptions.
Your Profile
Dipl. Occupational Therapist BSc or equivalent SRK recognition.
Professional experience in geriatrics is desirable, but newcomers are also welcome.
Further training in hand therapy, dysphagia therapy, and internship supervision is an advantage.
Independent, responsible, solution-oriented, and structured working style.
Good PC user skills, very good oral and written German skills.
Motivation to provide contemporary occupational therapy primarily to geriatric patients and to develop new offerings.
