The team of Pediatric Neurology, Developmental Pediatrics, and Neurorehabilitation Northwestern Switzerland (UKBB and Children's Hospital KSA) is dedicated to the health and diseases of the entire nervous system of patients and their families. The outpatient clinics have specific focuses and are interdisciplinary, offering colleagues in training active teaching in a friendly, loyal, and professional work environment. Research projects and teaching activities are part of the daily routine at a university children's hospital, alongside patient care.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement, limited for 3 years with the option of extension

Your tasks

• Leading an independent outpatient pediatric neurology clinic and caring for hospitalized patients from the entire spectrum of pediatric neurology in the emergency department, intensive care unit, and wards, including EEG evaluations

• Active participation in specialized outpatient clinics for movement disorders and involvement in the development of rehabilitation services

• Taking on teaching responsibilities and supervising assistant physicians

• Conducting/participating in research projects and supervising master's students

• Taking on neuro services and pediatric on-call duties

Your profile

• A specialist title in Pediatrics FMH (or a foreign equivalent) and a specialization title in Pediatric Neurology or close to completion

• Enthusiasm for the field, commitment, teamwork skills, and communication competencies
