IT/OT Project Specialist (m/f)

You rock this

• You support and accompany our project managers in complex expansion and maintenance projects of ASTRA in the field of OT system technology and serve as the interface to internal and external stakeholders.

• With your IT/OT expertise, you take an active role in reviewing implementation specifications for their practicality.

• Creating and commissioning servers and VMs according to guidelines and specifications is enjoyable for you.

• You are responsible for the planning, coordination, and commissioning of IT and OT systems (VM, PLC, RIO, fiber optics) at the WAN.

• You participate in acceptance tests, commissioning, integration tests, and final inspections of new systems.

• Close collaboration and coordination with IT colleagues to ensure seamless integration and operational reliability is essential.

• Independently implementing measures in the area of IT/OT lifecycle management brings you joy and is a welcome change for you.

• You stay cool even in hectic situations, respond responsibly, think analytically, and act independently and decisively.

• You can be relied upon. You are a team player and listen to the opinions of others, while also being self-confident and able to assert yourself.

• You have a federal certificate of competence in the field of computer science or automation. A higher vocational qualification in computer science is also an advantage.

• You bring several years of experience as a systems specialist in a heterogeneous, preferably project-oriented environment. Experience with the commissioning of OT systems is a plus.

• You have solid knowledge in system architectures, network technologies, and IT security standards, as well as good knowledge in virtualization (e.g., VMware vSphere, vSAN) and network technology.

• Working when others have time off is okay with you. (Depending on the project phase, we sometimes work at night.)

• You are fluent in German and have the necessary technical English skills.
