The Schürmatt Foundation is a competence center for unique special educational services in the canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 staff members at 13 locations, primarily working in the education, support, and care of people with disabilities.

Co-Management of Adult Living
Workload 80 - 100 %

Your main tasks

• As an engaged leader, you will bear the professional, personnel, and organizational responsibility for two living groups with a total of 17 employees and 13 adult clients with cognitive, physical, and psychological disabilities.

• You typically work Monday to Friday during office hours and ensure smooth operations with the support of two deputies.

• You utilize the scope your leadership role offers to enhance the quality of life of the clients.

• You cooperate and coordinate with guardians and relatives, internal and external specialists.

• You are committed to achieving departmental and operational goals as well as the further development of the Schürmatt Foundation.

• You plan employees economically, efficiently, and appropriately in the time recording system Polypoint PEP.

What you bring

• Completed training in social pedagogy or social work (FH/HF)

• Cooperative, appreciative leadership style with an active feedback culture

• Creative and flexible thinking, high assertiveness

• Leadership experience with corresponding further training or willingness to complete it

• Experience in supporting people with disabilities and challenging behavior

• Psychological and physical resilience

• Very good German language skills and solid IT knowledge (Office 365, easyDOK, PEP)
