as a Substitute in Residential Groups
In five different residential units, we offer around 50 people with severe cognitive or multiple disabilities a home in Schärenmatte. There, they are supported around the clock according to their individual possibilities in their daily lives. In five workshops, they receive a daily and work structure tailored to their needs.
Our residents want to be "taken seriously and perceived as adults". Furthermore, they wish for a caregiver who "recognizes them and remembers them".
Tasks
Accompanying and supporting residents in various areas of life
Care and implementation of health-maintaining measures
Substituting for absences in the residential groups
Performing household tasks
Supporting the execution of administrative tasks
Requirements
Training as a nursing assistant SRK, driver's license is an advantage
Experience in supporting people with disabilities
Experience in the application of supported communication is an advantage
Flexibility for irregular work schedules and locations
Personal competencies: patience, humor, reliability; willingness for irregular working hours
