Head of Purchasing & Procurement (m/f/d) Workload: 80%-100%

With us, you will have the chance to rebuild purchasing as a central function and significantly contribute to the efficiency and quality of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for all purchasing (hardware, software, services, and other services) at HINT and shape its direction.

Your tasks

• Building the strategic purchasing function and exercising the operational function

• Developing and implementing a holistic purchasing strategy as well as cross-functional category strategies

• Defining and anchoring strategic and operational purchasing processes

• Establishing a strategic supplier management and ensuring operational supplier management

• Establishing a business partner concept, including close coordination with specialist departments

• Purchasing products/services and timely renewal of contracts (maintenance, subscriptions, renewals)

• Identifying and realizing savings potential and efficiency increases in purchasing

• Reporting procurement performance to management plus budgeting

• Developing and establishing best-practice standards, methods, and tools in purchasing

Your profile

• Completed studies in business administration (or a comparable field) and/or specific training

• At least five years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement, ideally with an IT service provider

• In-depth expertise and high IT affinity

• Experience in building and optimizing purchasing organizations

• Strong team player to establish the newly created purchasing function

• Authentic and solution-oriented personality with strategic foresight

• Analytical and pragmatic approach, combined with proven implementation strength and strong negotiation skills

• Proficient in MS Office

• Fluent in German, both spoken and written
