To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Junior System Engineer. In this role, you will support our existing team in ensuring the smooth operation of the internal IT infrastructure for our approximately 50 employees and partially for our customers.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

• Installation and operation of IT environments for internal and external customers

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd-level support for internal and external customers

• Lifecycle management of the systems and devices under your responsibility

• Creating instructions for internal and external users

• Support in the implementation of security policies

• Monitoring and performing data backups

ADDITIONAL TASKS

• Management and optimization of the Microsoft Azure environment including Microsoft products (e.g. VMs, networks, storage solutions, Office, …)

• Installation and maintenance of third-party applications on hosted customer environments

• Up- and cross-selling to customers

• Active participation in the internal system management process

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ (or equivalent IT training)

• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Azure and Server

• Good knowledge of network infrastructure and virtualization (VMware, Proxmox)

• Knowledge of Veeam Backup

• Knowledge of Fortigate products (Firewall/Analyzer) is an advantage

• Communicative and team-oriented

• Independent, proactive, and with a high quality awareness

• Very good German and good English skills
