Social educator with mobile youth work 60% "Pratteln moves" is the guiding principle of our dynamic community with around 17,000 residents. The municipality of Pratteln offers excellent transport connections, family-friendly housing, attractive and comprehensive infrastructure, as well as good conditions for businesses. The municipality provides a variety of services for different stakeholder groups.

In the area of open youth work, young people and their environment are specifically advised and supported. With its 100 nations, the municipality of Pratteln is characterized by lived diversity. The youth meeting point is an important place for reflecting on various cultural references. With mobile youth work, we support young people in public spaces with projects and conversation offers.

Your main tasks include:

• Further development and implementation of mobile youth work
• Social pedagogical work at the youth meeting point
• Individual support, guidance, and assistance in the integration of young people
• Implementation of animation projects
• Gender work, promotion of diversity
• Collaboration in the further development of youth work
• Networking with residents, schools, service and specialist offices, and committees
• Administrative tasks in the field

You can bring the following knowledge and skills to us:

• Completed training in social pedagogy/socio-cultural animation
• Experience in (mobile) youth work
• Joy and experience in working with young people from diverse cultures
• An open, cooperative personality with high social competence
• An innovative and solution-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work outside regular working hours

Start of employment:
October 1, 2025, or by agreement
