The Tanne is THE competence center for people with congenital hearing and vision disabilities, deafblindness, and related multiple sensory disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, in German-speaking Switzerland.
For our clients in the children/youth sector, we are looking for a responsible and open-minded personality as of now or by arrangement for the position of
Social Educator (Children/Youth Sector), 80%
Your tasks
- Co-responsibility for individual support, care, and leisure activities
- Promotion and support in collaboration with teachers and therapists
Your profile
- Completed training as a social educator HF/FH
- Expertise in the disability sector combined with curiosity, patience, and joy in the work
- Interest in specific challenges related to congenital hearing and vision disabilities and multiple sensory disabilities
- Interest in working with clients from the autism spectrum
- Passion for / interest in (Supported) Communication
- Calm, empathetic, and resilient personality - even in unexpected situations
- Practical and goal-oriented approach
- Ability to set boundaries and a good sense of one's own work-life balance
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration in a motivated team
