Family Worker 40-50%

For the outreach family work based on the competency-oriented methodology KOFA, we are looking for a family worker (40-50%) or on a contractual basis, starting immediately or by arrangement.

The Foundation for the Integration of Children and Youth (ikj) is committed to children and adolescents whose development is at risk and who require professional support for their psychosocial integration. In addition to residential services, the foundation offers outreach family work based on the KOFA methodology. KOFA is an intervention form for families at risk of having one or more children placed outside the home. It supports families in a crisis situation from which they cannot find a way out alone or with the usual support from outpatient services. Additionally, KOFA accompanies parents and their children in the context of visitation rights and provides assessments on behalf of the KESB. To expand our team, we are looking for family workers on a contractual basis or in a part-time capacity for family support and assessments, starting immediately or by arrangement.

We expect:

• Completed social pedagogy, social work, or psychology training or equivalent qualification
• Preferably: Qualified, several years of professional experience in working with children, adolescents, parents, and families
• Further training in competency-oriented family work or willingness to complete it
• Positive view of people with a resource-oriented perspective
• Good self-organization and planning skills
• Self-reflection
• Humor
• Flexibility
• Own vehicle
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Minimum age of 30 years
