Specialist for Parent Counseling 70 - 80 %
The Arkadis Foundation is a service center for adults with disabilities, primarily with cognitive impairments and/or cerebral movement disorders, who live privately or in our institution. Additionally, we are a specialized center for children and adolescents with disabilities, developmental impairments or risks, as well as those with special health or social support needs, including their social environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and counseling for parents with children up to 5 years old in their challenging role in family life on topics such as development, nutrition, sleep,
- health, care, and education
- Conducting public counseling half-days in the communities, in telephone consultations, home visits, and online
- Consulting and coaching other professionals
- Active collaboration with midwives, hospitals, pediatricians, and other institutions
- Administrative and organizational tasks
- Organization, implementation, and participation in projects
Requirements
- Training as a qualified nursing professional with a focus on child and youth care, midwife HF, or social educator HF or FH
- Postgraduate studies in parent counseling or higher professional examination for early childhood consultants
- Experience in early childhood
- High social competence, sense of responsibility, openness to diversity
- Driving license category B
