Lecturer in Digital Construction - Focus on Collaboration and Process Design

Your tasks:

The Institute of Digital Construction relies on collaboration and utilizes principles of self-organization to achieve goals together. With your practice-oriented contributions in teaching and research, you complement the institute and shape it with a high degree of personal responsibility. As a subject matter expert in the field of collaboration and process design in the construction industry, you are familiar with organizational forms and bring expertise in topics such as Lean Construction, IPD, and scheduling.
In your role, you will take on the following tasks:

• designing and conducting your own courses at the Master's and Bachelor's level as well as in continuing education
• acquiring, leading, and working on research projects
• representing the department through publications, presentations, and other activities
• representing the institute and the department in practice, professional, and academic committees

Your profile:

We are looking for an innovative and committed individual who knows how to inspire with a convincing presence and high communication skills. You bring several years of practical experience and competencies in the construction industry, particularly in shaping interdisciplinary collaboration and in process and organizational design. Your professional competencies are ideally complemented by the following qualifications:

• University degree at least at Master's level
• Experience in successfully acquiring research and/or service projects
• in-depth knowledge of scientific work
• openness and curiosity towards digital tools
• good networking in the Swiss construction industry
• very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
• enjoyment and skills in teaching
• higher education didactic qualification preferred
