The municipal enterprise for the elderly and care in the city of Winterthur offers around 640 residential places and comprehensive home care services. Over 1,100 employees work daily for the well-being of older people. The Real Estate & Facility Management department strategically develops and operates our areas with three organizational units, closely aligned with usage and operational considerations.
Help shape and develop the future with us. Take over the leadership of the Real Estate Projects organizational unit (80–100%) from September 1 or by agreement.
Your tasks
- Strategic, operational, and personnel management of the Real Estate Projects organizational unit with up to three employees
- Strategic and operational further development of the real estate portfolio, consisting of senior centers, senior apartments, and commercial spaces, including participation in budget and investment planning
- Structuring and managing various renovation, new construction, or operational projects, depending on scope and complexity, either as overall project management or as owner representation in close collaboration with the municipal construction authority
- Development of overarching concepts in real estate management as well as specialized consulting and support for users
- Preparation and review of decision-making bases such as business plans and profitability calculations, as well as coordination of decisions across various committees
Your profile
- Completed higher education in Facility Management, Real Estate Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a comparable field
- All-rounder in real estate and construction project management with at least three years of practical experience in managing/supporting construction projects and/or projects of various types, ideally with projects in health construction or care
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with interconnected thinking as well as high personal responsibility and independence
- Strong communicator, engaging, persuasive, and socially competent with pronounced negotiation skills, even in challenging situations
- Experience with organizational development processes in the real estate sector is welcome
