Staff Atelier 80 %

In five different residential units, we provide a home for around 50 people with severe cognitive or multiple disabilities in Schärenmatte. They are supported around the clock in their daily lives according to their individual capabilities. In five workshops, they receive a daily and work structure tailored to their needs.

Our residents and clients wish for a humorous companion who can shine with general knowledge and technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying and supporting residents and clients in the work environment
• Assisting in the design of recreational and activation offers for residents
• Performing simple caregiving tasks
• Transporting clients with the institution's bus (driver's license required)
• Applying multimodal communication and performing household tasks

Requirements

• Interest in working with people with high support needs (experience is an advantage)
• Completed basic training and good IT skills
• Experience in dealing with challenging behavior
• Creative flair and communicative personality
• Personal competencies: independence, resilience, and flexibility
