The area of responsibility includes the following activities:
- Manufacturing of composite structures (GRP/CFRP) and sandwich structures according to specified construction documents such as laying books/Ply-Books.
- Laminating the cuttings for the multilayer composite structures in a climate-controlled clean room.
- Building the sandwich structures with integrated foam and honeycomb core materials, inserts, and reinforcement elements using auxiliary devices.
- Operating laser projection systems.
- Creating and checking vacuum setups.
- Connecting supply and measurement lines to the interfaces of the manufacturing machines and systems.
- Operating the manufacturing machines and systems.
- Carrying out rework or repair work.
- Testing finished products based on test plans, production orders (FA), and recognized technical regulations.
- Quality control of the manufacturing aids used.
- Performing simple maintenance work on the machines and systems.
The ideal qualifications are:
- Process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology with composite experience or a comparable qualification.
- Experience as a laminator (plastic processing) is desirable.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience in the production of sandwich structures in composite construction is an advantage.
- Structured and results-oriented working style as well as teamwork skills.
- Reliable and conscientious work. Craftsmanship.
- Willingness to work shifts (if required).
- MS Office user knowledge.
- German spoken and written, basic knowledge of English spoken and written.
