Medicoat is an innovative company in thermal spray technology with a focus on plasma spraying. Around 90 employees work at our two locations in Switzerland and France. We coat implants on behalf of renowned companies in the medical technology sector, develop and optimize spray coatings for industrial applications, manufacture complete coating systems in plant engineering, and produce the specific spray powder (titanium and hydroxyapatite) ourselves.
To strengthen our Robotics department, we are looking for a
Robotics Specialist, 80 – 100% in Mägenwil immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Creating application-specific robot programs and user interfaces
- Commissioning of robotic systems and functionality tests
- Creating simulations to verify mechanical structures and motion sequences
- Contributing to the further development of our robot software (planning, programming, and troubleshooting)
- Training customers in robot operation
Your knowledge and experience
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience in robot programming, ideally ABB RobotStudio
- Knowledge in PLC control technology, simulation, and interfaces is an advantage
- Very good MS Office user skills
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
