Your Tasks:
- As an internationally recognized artistic personality, you will use your diverse concert and teaching experiences for the professional training of students at the University of Music
- You will teach students with a major in bassoon in the BA and MA programs, conduct class sessions and lecture evenings, be present at admission and final exams, and are accustomed to taking responsibility for the development of young musicians
- You will engage in committees of the university, particularly in subject group meetings and conferences, and advocate for the further development of the study programs
- Through your international networking and diverse professional experience, you can bring important impulses to the university and further develop existing formats together with the subject group and management team
- Thanks to your strong pedagogical commitment and identification with the University of Music Basel, you play an integrative and enriching role in our institution
- You will also contribute to the networking of the university with significant internal and external institutions located on or near the campus of the Music Academy
Your Profile:
- You are a well-connected and internationally recognized artistic personality
- You are characterized by excellent didactic skills and teaching experience at the university level
- You have a university degree in music
- You are familiar with the professional requirements for students and are aware of the latest developments in concert and music life, particularly in the orchestral and chamber music sectors
- Engaging with historically informed performance practice, contemporary music, and chamber music is a natural part of your commitment
- You have furthered your education in higher education didactics and university administration or are willing to do so
