For our Engineering/certification team we are looking for a

Compliance Verification Engineer

Workplace: Fällanden near Zurich, Switzerland

Your area of responsibility and expertise

  • Planning and implementation of certification projects in the area of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) equipment
  • Classification of changes in Minor/Major, Approval of Minor Changes
  • Creation and approval of certification plans and documents for compliance demonstration (e.g. qualification test reports, safety assessments)
  • Communication with suppliers and authorities
  • Witnessing of admission tests
  • Advising Engineering in the area of airworthiness, participation in design reviews
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design organisation

What you ideally offer

  • Degree in mechanical engineering (ETH/FH/TS), aviation engineering (FH) or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the certification of aviation products, preferably as CVE.
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part 21, Certification Specifications, Safety Assessment and Equipment Qualification.
  • Knowledge of flight testing and safety management is an advantage.
  • High quality awareness and a team- and solution-orientated way of working.
  • Very good written and spoken English and good German language skills
