The scope of duties includes the following activities:
- Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams with full responsibility for achieving goals in the dimensions of 'costs, scope of services, and deadlines' within the manufacturing operation
- Project controlling and reporting with a focus on early detection of cost and schedule deviations
- Close collaboration with project stakeholders both within and outside the organization
- Support/preliminary clarifications for sales during the bidding phase
- Calculation and monitoring of recurrent costs during the design process and in series production
- Facilitating make or buy decisions in collaboration with purchasing
- Optimizing manufacturing and procurement lot sizes in coordination with the Head of Production & Purchasing
- Deviation management in projects across departments and locations
- Coordinating the provision of products and participating in customer acceptance tests
- Contributing to industrialization and digitalization topics of production and administrative processes
- Leading and actively participating in improvement projects in the areas of production, logistics, and administration, based on value stream analyses and the continuous improvement program
- Conducting and supporting process and product developments, e.g., using PFMEA method or design-to-cost activities
The ideal qualifications are:
- Technical basic training (e.g., mechanic, polymechanic, automation technician)
- Further education as a technician HF or Bachelor HF in business administration, corporate processes, supply chain or operations management
- Proven professional experience in project management as well as in logistics and production processes and corresponding further education
- Further education, practical experience, and enjoyment in applying lean philosophy
- Experience in the aviation industry or another highly regulated environment is desirable
- High level of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong execution qualities with a structured and methodical working style
- Communicative personality with experience in dealing with customers
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
